Meet the TeamManaging and Technical Director
The managing director and principle technical design engineer is Paul Monamy EngTech, MCIPHE, MBIFM, MREO, RP. Paul has been working within the building services industry for over 35 years and has a wealth of experience in the design and installation of plumbing, heating and cooling technology. With over 70 completed geothermal projects safely under his belt, he has successfully designed all manner of installations from domestic home heating to commercial hot water production for a large hotel using a system called “energy scrubbing”. Paul has also spent a great deal of time over the last few years working with trade and industry proffesions on designs and new methods of low energy house construction. The goal was to be able to build low energy homes at affordable prices. The design works are now completed and the first ultra low energy homes are curently under construction in Jersey. These 210m2 buildings are packed full of low energy envioromentally friendly products and when completed in Spring 2010 aim to be the some of most energy efficent houses available. Never wishing to stand still, and forever pushing the efficiency boundries, Paul and his team are now working on a further refined design for a solar heated house with design credentials to surpass "passive house" standards of construction. Installation Director
Wayne Shales, EngTech, TMEIT, MCIPHE, MIDHEE, RP is a Director of our installation partners P.H.S. Ltd. Wayne is responsible for the coordination of the installations on site. With 15 years experience within the plumbing and heating industry he is well used to liaising with clients and other trades people. Wayne also assists Paul with the design engineering and the integration of the installation into the buildings existing mechanical and electrical system. Senior Project & Commissioning Engineer Ray Jones has worked within the plumbing and heating industry in excess of 25 years and has a wealth of experience. He works very closely with Wayne and Paul and assists them with the technical aspects of system dynamics, integration and control philosophy. Ray also undertakes the more complex installations, all of the installation commissioning, fault finding and maintenance works on the heat pump and rain water harvesting installations. His knowledge and experience with planning and integration of commercial installations is unparalleled. Installation Teams Ray and Wayne have trained several teams of engineers to install the various renewable energy products including GSHP, ASHP & Geo-floor underfloor heating systems. They also have other teams that install the slinky energy collectors, ground probes and rain water harvesting systems. Electric Engineers Gordon Electrical Services Ltd, our installing partners are responsible for the electrical wiring and installation works for the heat pumps, photovoltaic collectors and wind turbines.
